Coursework Resubmission

I have decided to resubmit my coursework as i did not achieve the grade i wanted, i got 41 out of 100 in my coursework so i feel as if i could do a lot better than this now because of my knowledge and understanding of media that i have gained through my recent lessons, i feel as though the reasons i did not achieve my predicted grade was because of the lack of organisation to get everything filmed as i was not very comfortable or confident in my group, however i feel a lot more confident about resubmitting the work this year as i have gained experience from what went wrong last year and how i can improve on every aspect possible. i noticed that some of the shots in my film were quite rushed and armature leading to a film that did not in any way look professional or believable, the aim was to scare the audience and because of the way we ordered and shot each scene it was not scary at all.

Evaluation

The Site First Cut

Here is the first cut we have of our attempt of making "The Site", we experienced various different problems throughout the filming and editing stages of producing it. One of the things I noticed was that most of the shots we filmed looked very unprofessional, they could of been filmed very differently to make the filming relate more to the genre and give more of a scary feel to the film. We also found that using fade to black within the editing process made the film look very cheap and did not look effective at all. We learnt that using an Apple Mac would be a better option when editing our film as they are industry standard and you would usually use them in a professional standard film, it also allows us to become familiar witht eh different
